Children

Children are a blessing of the Lord and we are instructed to train up a child in the way they should go, according to their unique gifting and bent, and when they are old, they will not depart from Him. We take that responsibility seriously and know that children are an inheritance and must be cared for, protected, and matured until they are finally launched into their destiny in Christ. We believe that it is crucial to lay a strong foundation of faith in our children at a young age. Our children's ministry is led by Rachel Bosket who is an anointed teacher and has a passion for our youth.

We believe that it is important for our children to learn to worship and engage with the adults in the church and encounter the presence of the Lord in worship so they stay in the main sanctuary during worship. They are encouraged to enter fully into worship under the watchful eyes of the adults in the service. After worship, we have age-appropriate teaching for children from infants to 12 years old in the classroom for our children while the adults are ministered to in the main sanctuary. We believe that they can know the Lord and develop a relationship at a young age, especially since they possess a childlike faith.

Hello my name is Cheyanne America Moore, and I am the director of the Children's Ministry at Convergence Church at WFCF. I was born March 8, 1987. I was raised by my mom (Kelly Frost) and step dad (Randy Frost). It was not a Christian family, however,  we did go to church occasionally. The little bit I was exposed to church caused a curiosity and an interest in God! It was in my late teens when I heard the gospel message, and I responded to the understanding that Jesus loves me and Jesus is for me. The Bible verse Hebrew 13:8 really helped me to accept Jesus Christ into my life.
From a young age I have had a passion for children! I want children to feel loved, that they matter, and that they belong. I went to vocational school for Early Childhood Education, as well as taking some college courses. Praise be to God! I have my Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. I also teach 3 and 4 year olds full-time as a Preschool Teacher outside the church. I am honored to teach the children at church about God's wonderful word and watch them grow and mature. It is a blessing to teach children. I teach them yes, but they teach, me as well!
My future goal is to take children ministry college classes. 
A hobby I have is going to the park and spending time in nature with the creator of the universe. Also, I enjoy cats I have six cats, their names are Patches, Aaron, sprinkles, Scooter, Star, and Gary.

The children go to the Convergence Kids classroom after worship finishes where they are taught principles and word of God in a way they can understand.
