Prayer Ministry
There is no greater privilege we as believers have been given than to pray. Prayer is crucial to the strength of a believer's life. It is the believer's lifeblood. It was so important to the first disciples that with all the things that they could have asked Jesus to teach them, they asked Him to teach them to pray. No doubt they had watched the pattern of His life as He habitually sought a secluded place to meet with the Father in prayer and saw Him emerge full of peace, strength, power, love, and authority.
Prayer is central to the success of everything we do at Convergence Church. We begin our Sunday Services with Corporate Prayer beginning at 9:45 am, and we end our services with personal prayer ministry for individuals' needs. We have a trained team of intercessors that pray for the church, our community, and our nation daily. We gather together corporately to pray and intercede for the church, our city, our region, the nation, and the nations on the fourth Friday of every month at 7pm. We care about the needs of people within our church and outside of our church and have a prayer chain of faithful believers who pray over prayer requests we have received.
Prayer is one of our greatest privileges as a believer. Scripture tells us that the prayers of the upright delight Him. We not only bring our requests for ourselves with thanksgiving to Him, but we are offered the honor of praying for others and for all situations! Prayer changes things and it's all because of Jesus!
