Evangelism - Part 1
Many Christians believe they need special qualifications or extensive biblical knowledge to effectively share their faith. This misconception, coupled with doubt, fear, and insecurity, often prevents believers from engaging in evangelism. However, Jesus commissioned all disciples to spread the good news, not just a select few. God provides everything needed for effective evangelism: His power, wisdom, presence, and the preparation of hearts. Success isn't measured by perfect words, complete biblical knowledge, or immediate visible results - it's about faithfulness in sharing as God leads. We are simply vessels through which God works, and apart from Him, we can do nothing. By examining our hearts and challenging ourselves to meditate on God's provision, asking Him to remove unbelief, and looking for opportunities to share our testimony, we can overcome our doubts. The transformative understanding that evangelism relies on God's power rather than our abilities allows us to move forward with confidence, knowing we're equipped for the task.
